Best in Class
Best in Class
Everyone has a favorite teacher…
…and Polson High School history teacher Pat Danley is the first to come to mind for many present and former students. “Mr. Danley” is regarded as a sort of celebrity in Polson, flagged down numerous times by students, parents, and colleagues when he’s out in public. His students love Pat’s engaging, conversational teaching style, which is sprinkled with humor and a genuine interest in them. “Danley” is also a beloved Polson Pirates assistant football coach. His players thrive under his guidance and participation in practices and games. This film celebrates Pat Danley and his Best in Class legacy.
Opens on Friday, May 2nd at Showboat Stadium 6 and continues through Thursday, May 8th. (Check Showboat Stadium 6 for daily showtimes.)
The special cast and crew screening with Q&A following is at 7pm on opening day, May 2nd.

BEST IN CLASS Producer & Director David W. King
My wife — and fellow film producer — Jessica King and I have been close friends of Pat and Deanne Danley for many years. The Danleys are our go-to choice to watch our young children when we go out of town; they’re that dear to us and our son and daughter. The idea to make a film about Pat was sparked when he and I went to a Polson High School basketball game and Pat was approached by one fan after another. I say “fan” because Pat is treated like a celebrity around these parts. He’s one of those high-impact teachers who people remember. Once you see Best in Class, we think you’ll agree that this man and his rich legacy are worth celebrating.
David’s IMDB profile is “David W. King (II)”
